Great foundation really makes a difference. Can you see my acne scars? I sure can’t!
Had the misfortune of picking an unpadded bra to wear under a white shirt for work. Ughh. Hello nipple piercings. Thank goodness for tape.
HOLY SHIT.
JUST REMEMBERED MY WIFE AND I SANG AN ORIGINAL SONG TO, GAVE OUR BAND URL TO, SYNTH-NERDED OUT WITH, AND HAD A BEER WITH ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS EVER. NBD.
Julian and Kim of the Presets were so down-to-earth and kind to us. :) We had so much fun at the meet and greet. When I took a picture of all the guys together I said “Smile and say CLITBONER!” (Due to too many handsome men in one room… our boyfriends + Kim & Julian) and Julian couldn’t even keep a straight face…I got the man chuckling!
Taproot, a Michigan band, was also playing next door at 7th Street Entry. The bassist, Phil Lipscomb, happens to be my mom’s first cousin, so that makes him my first cousin once removed. It was nice to finally meet him…he’s played gigs in town before but I was too young to go the first time and was working the next. He was super nice!

sexy as fuck dude. I’m sad that I missed ‘em last night.

Nothing but happy tears today.
I am sorry for spamming you guys with Marriage Equality posts, but Minnesota makes me so proud.
Nearly eleven years ago, I moved to the United States to have a better life. I was shocked to learn that LGBT individuals were still being treated like second-class citizens. I am so glad to see that ALL Minnesotans will now have equal opportunities to pursue love and happiness.
There are a lot of unhappy campers on the other side of the argument, too bad for them. The people have spoken. There is no room for bigotry anymore, and as people keep the conversation going, I feel that acceptance will grow.
Love will always win out in the end.
I’ve never been so happy to call Minnesota my home. <3
How does giving other human beings the rights they already have, take away theirs?
Cry me a river and quit playing the victim, marriage equality opponents. You ARE bigots!
No religious congregation would ever be forced to officiate any wedding they don’t agree to, so obviously, no religious rights are being violated.
This is about freedom and equal CIVIL rights so they can take their bigoted views and shove it.
Love is FINALLY the law and these assholes can’t take it away.
Quite possibly the cutest dress I will ever own. The bestie wife gave me this expensive dress because “I don’t like how it looks on me.” How lucky am I? I have the best wife. Also, fresh ‘do by Saumer at Mezzanine Salon. <3
In other news, I am still giddy for Minnesota Marriage Equality. I was watching the debates today and crying at all the personal stories. I am sincerely very happy for all of my LGBT friends.
wr3n:
Thank you, Minnesota state senate!
And tomorrow there’s a huge party planned at Ecolab Plaza downtown St. Paul!!
And it’s going to be 90 degrees!
YES YES YES YES YES.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY TO BE A MINNESOTAN. MINNESOTA, I LOVE YOU!!!!!

Had lunch at Union Rooftop restaurant on Saturday with my spawn and a good friend. It was fucking gorgeous up there, with the tall buildings of downtown Minneapolis towering above us, and the sunshine was a welcome warmth on a cool windy day. The food was absolutely delicious too!
I would love to go back…maybe on a date night with the boyfriend to dine under the stars.
